For these biscuits I made a batch of these shortbread biscuits http://paulhollywood.com/recipes/buttery-shortbread-biscuits/ and cut out circles then cut cut out heart shapes from half of them.
Once they were out of the oven and on a cooling rack I made a small batch of vanilla buttercream then spread a thin layer of that on the flat biscuit with a layer of strawberry jam on top, next I put the heart biscuit on top, and filled in the heart with a bit more jam to finish it off.
This recipe makes around 15 jammy dodgers
But they didn't last very long at all
