Easter baking

Today I did my first bit of easter baking for 2019, I made a batch of fruity hot cross buns and some chocolate egg cupcakes.

The first things I made were a batch of hot cross buns using a thermomix recipe with sultanas and currants in them. I really like how they turned out and I will try to make some chocolate chip ones as well.

Next up were some easter cupcakes,

For these cupcakes, I made a big batch of a chocolate cupcake batter and I decorated them with a vannila american buttercream dyed green and I put a mini egg on top of each one.
